Me neither. The higher center of gravity and additional weight doesn't appeal to me and I think that the increased interior space is pretty pretty negligible. I'd rather have a thoughtful wagon/hatchback or, if interior space really is a concern, a minivan. That, to me, sums up the SUV - it's for people that need, but don't want to be seen in, a minivan.
Haven't you ever asked a soccor mom why she likes her SUV? 99 out of 100 times you will get the same totally inane answer, "I like sitting up high!" And now that ridiculous attitude has taken over dinette furniture with all the "bar-height" tables and chairs. Go figure.
