I've been getting play in my headset, no matter how much I tighten it.. after a bumpy ride I get the play after 2 days again. I think it was because of my initial installation, tightening the top cap too much when I first got the bike. So I decided to try to replace the bearings. When I disassembled everything, the bottom bearing shows TH Industries 1.5" 36x45 exactly like this
FSA 1 5 Cartridge Standard Bicycle Headset Bearing 36x45 MR110 160 6740 | eBay
There is no mark on the top bearing, so is it safe to assume it is 1 1/8 and also 36x45? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
edit: Bike is a Jamis Icon pro, on manual it says 1 1/8-1.5" tapered head tube. I'm concerned if 36x45 is the right angle for the top bearing, just want to make sure.
