As I'm preparing for the Wed ride, I'm also considering writing an ode to single water bottle rides. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but it is a fantastic thing about this time of the year - I love being able to go out for 30-40 miles on one bottle. It wasn't long ago that 30-40 miles meant two bottles and at least a partial refill somewhere along the way. Not having the extra weight and not having to consider where I'll refill only heightens that little sense of freedom.
