My old UPS guy in Brooklyn, Duro, had the most severe resting face that I've ever seen - you would think twice before asking him for the time of day - but damn it if he wasn't one of the most warm, cheerful guys that I've been acquainted with. When I was visiting NY in Jan, he saw me walking the street, stopped the truck, flagged me down and chatted for a while. I miss those friendly NYCers.
