Garage. It'd be a pain in the butt to haul it up the steps of the apartment after every single ride.

I've had 2 bikes that I had to store outside in coastal environments, and it wasn't healthy for them. The 2nd used to be locked to the support post in our car port with my wife's beach cruiser. One time I came home late at night and the beach cruiser was gone; shreds of cable lock were on the ground all around. They'd stolen a $150 cruiser and left behind a $1000 road bike. I didn't know whether to be relieved that they only took the cheap one, or pissed that there were such stupid bike thieves in the neighbourhood.
