Some very kind people, sponsors, and repurposing parts have kept our cycling costs lower than club soccer. Just to show how bad I am this is "my" 4th < 15# bike, 2nd with Di2... 2nd TT bike - both same electronics. They not just sitting around, so no regrets (other than Di2 getting scratches).
Thats awesome that your son rides with you! My son is 4 and loves to ride. I am excited for the day he asks me when he can get a nice road bike and ride with daddy! He wants to take part in our local cycle cross kids races, which we will take him to soon.
