After 2000+ miles on a set of Vittoria's which seemed to chuck everything away that I encountered on the road, and to have that happen on my first ride with tires 2x the price, just felt "painful." Left the Pro4 on the front and picked up some Lithion 2's cheap ($17/ea) for the rear that appear a little thicker in the contact area and ride pretty nice too.
