That is ridiculous. Giant is lying on that chart, and
they are well known for outright lying on weight numbers.
Roadbike.de weighed a medium TCR Advanced ISP at 996 g. Add 100g for a topper and that's 1100g. Not impressive. Certainly no "weight savings", lol.
I think we can agree, that at least in Giant's case, weight savings is not a selling point for their ISP design.
I don't know what your LOLing about. Giant shows on the chart all the things that have to be added together to get comparable assemblies for comparing weights among the various make and model frames. Full seat posts are included for non-ISP bikes. I have to believe the topper is included for the Giant TCR Advanced SL ISP. It must be considered part of the ISP. I can't help it if you don't believe that, but you only have conjecture to disprove it. Show me a review that says otherwise. Did the roadbike.de review specifically say the topper was not included?
