Have you tried cleaning and drying your chain, then putting a drop of lube on each of the rolling pins? I use Tri-FLow and wipe off the excess after a few minutes. It ends up looking dry (or a bit moist) on the outer links but it's all lubed inside the pins, where it matters. I rarely had stuff stick onto it, except for a sand grain here and there.
