I only bring up this ancient fact to counter all the threads about LEOs suddenly cracking down on scofflaw cyclists because said cyclists are such a danger to the community at large...

And then there is the thread of the eco-warrior that was so concerned about scofflaw cyclists, again because cyclists are such a danger to the community at large...

And then there was the thread about... bla bla bla cyclist... because again... being such a danger to the community at large...

The bottom line is that cyclists are not ever a danger to the community at large as they are such a tiny tiny part of the larger community which so busy being scofflaws themselves... including those that are supposed to protect "the community at large."

It is a freaking joke to ever blame any cyclist for the terrible death and dismemberment that said cyclists' "cause." OK once or twice a year someone steps in front of a fast cyclist... meanwhile...
