Wow - these sounds like a really good idea - thanks rpenmanparker. This is a fantastic recipe. Why do i have to depend on the LBS to cut - surely it's a no brainer with the cutting guide installed - isn't it? With such fine measurements wouldn't it be better to do it myself. Surely a fine tooth hacksaw will do? I gather i'll have to put the bike somewhat horizontal - maybe lying on the floor.

Any more tips?

I gather u ride an ISP bike too?
