Seriously now, how does that make sense? I prefer long sleeves in the summer to protect my skin from sunburn. Since I used to do a lot of evening rides too, they protected me from airborne pests. In winter, I can get by with short sleeves, but I still wear sunblock. I just need to work harder to stay warm. Not a problem in California or Australia.
