A friend and I were on our usual morning ride when, on the other side of the road, we see three foreigners (one Finnish and two Spaniards) on fully loaded tourers trudging along. It's a rare sight in this part of the country, so we decided to say hi. Turns out they've been riding for 5 months and started from Istanbul. Cool stuff. They of course avoided the not-so-safe countries along the way.
