Was watching Ink Master on Hulu the other day and I found it interesting that it is perfectly acceptable to show a bare chested woman on television provided they have had a mastectomy and no longer have nipples. Even though a scar and lack of nipples is the only visible difference.
I loved that show when I used to watch it because it was one of the only competition type shows where the contestants seem to truly loathe each other. They snipe at each other on "Master Chef" but on "Ink Master", the gloves really come off.
I did wonder though if the people who had tattoos done on the show received vouchers to have them fixed later. If you went on the show and your artist didn't have time to finish or made your pin-up girl look like a haggard streetwalker, are you stuck with that forever or would the producers pay to clean it up?
