Agreed. Idiots, but probably not spoiling for a fight, though bolstered by the groups numbers a couple guys with too much testosterone would likely have to be bigger idiots ... er, um, heroes, defending the ladies honor.
A simple - surprised "whoa! Hi! 'scuse us please..." would probably only gotten dirty looks but no confrontation.
