Ok, let me engage in some gratuitous (sp?) cultural superiority...
1. Starbucks is not coffee.
2. Coffee is, what you all call an ' espresso'.
3. It is only available in Italy.
4. When ordering it in Italy, all you have to ask for is a 'caffe' (accent on the final 'e'). They will understand.
Jokes aside, my father-in-law once took me to a Starbucks, thinking I would appreciate a coffee far from home (knowing that I am an addict). Holy moly it was bad. In a paper cup (in Italy we shoot people for far less than that). Half a liter of vaguely brown liquid. Yuuuuucccckkkk.
Never again. Outside of the Middle East, Ethiopia, the Balkans, Turkey and the Caucasus (where you can get a good cup of Turkish coffee) coffee is not drinkable. That's it.
Sorry, now I will stop complaining!
