i haven't had trouble with mine yet, but I've only used it for a few days so we'll have to see. You can dial in the resistance by turning the knobs to tighten and then further tighten by using a screwdriver. A little more involved, but I believe they made it this way as it's the only way to get it more secure in more demanding settings during action. Simply hand tightening probably wouldn't work. I have heard of it falling apart in some reviews, but only time will tell. Will update if it does. Let us know how that k edge one works. I'm not too familiar with it myself

seriously, it's definitely squirrel season. I think I saw at least half a dozen out and about during the course of a couple hours. I usually just yell something nonsensical at them very loudly and it usually freaks them out that they bolt if they're anywhere near the road and in my way, hah
