IMO the gear ratio range matters more than how many cogs you can pack into the space of what was 8 speed .

but if you have a bottomless wallet , there are sellers out there.

on the pricy side initially, The 14 speed Disc Rohloff just has 1 cog to replace, and they can be flipped over and used twice..
