Meh, My MTB Triple is on my studded tire winter bike , used a week a year . friction thumb shifters.
neither shifter is Indexed I toured Europe several times with those bikes, sun tour bar end shifters

I'm converted more to IGH. I ride my Rohloff Hub bike more, (and the Brompton), these days .
then the gear ratio sequence is combinations of gears, inside the hub. R'off does it all inside the hub, the grip just pulls cables.


but I work on the new stuff in the LBS, when Needed . Customer's bikes. happy to put you on what is sold, now.
