I've lived in neighborhoods like that before. If I moved to another one I'd probably have to get a car, start doing the drive/ride/drive thing.
Oh, it's not quite that way. Outside of my neighborhood gets me out of town onto rural routes with 55mph speed limits, good sight lines and low traffic. No need to drive to ride.
