For development and testing, it's great, but you cannot put anything from MSDN into production. I've been at too many places where MSDN has been abused. Microsoft comes down hard on it.
We've had that issue as well, mostly with out developers hosting in their own SQL environments. For some of them its easier than going through the DBA's.
