To my dismay, I discovered that
this formerly open meadow now looks like a strip mine, complete with 20+ earth movers and other heavy machinery. Only it's not going to be a strip mine (I almost wish it was). It's going to be more exurb housing for road-clogging SUV drivers.
That sucks. This fine meadow I rode by today is run by the Dept. of the Interior, so hopefully won't ever be developed.
