Why don't I see more people in the superman position? Although it is illegal now, why should that stop people? It is/was illegal to wear non-matching socks down at the local cycling club, but that doesn't stop people from wearing them at other times(or even during a race)! Besides with this you at least get a speed advantage. Was looking at this: http://www.kreuzotter.de/english/espeed.htm

Seems if I'm doing 30kph on the hoods then I can manage nearly 40kph in the superman position!! Which is a massive increase, is even a massive increase from on the aerobars which go up to 35kph.

Surely it can't be that uncomfortable, was used by Boardman (Edit: Haven't been having much sleep, memory slipping...) for the hour record. I think I've heard they are very difficult to get the knack of (or dangerous)? Much more than aerobars?

Yikes, and on a "Streamlined Lowracer" I'll be way over 60kph for the same effort as it takes me to do 30kph!
