Thanks! I drilled them mainly for looks and probably lost more weight which I didn't mention by changing out the tubes to Q-tubes Superlight. I sure didn't want to use a regular hole saw so I made quick work cutting the holes with this Hougen Holcutter.
The lip kept me from going thru and hitting the spokes.
