When I got hit by a car several people stopped to help. The Sheriff dept. (can't remember what county) deputies were also very nice. The lady who hit me was a complete ***** though.

Another time when I was riding in rural FL in the middle of nowhere a storm was building up. As big rain drops started to fall a beat up pick up truck passed me, honked their horn and pointed to the side of the road. At first I thought I was getting the "get off the road" message, but I then realized they were pointing to an unused vegetable stand up ahead I could use for shelter. I thought that was pretty nice.
