Earlier this summer I ended up in a bad spot with an aggressive dog I couldn't outrun because of a hill and being tired from a long ride. I ended up dismounting and trying to walk out with the bike between the dog and I, but Cujo wasn't having it and kept trying to close the gap or get around behind me. I guy in a pickup realized I was having problems and rolled up beside me and called the dog. The dog ran around to the driver's side of the pickup and the driver kept the dog occupied with the truck between the dog and the bike so I could remount and put on some distance. After cresting the hill and being well out ahead of the dog, the driver pulled up along side of me and waved.
