Agreed. As I mentioned above I got 2100 miles out of my GP 4 Seasons before the casing split on the rear tire. The front tire made it another 700 miles or so before its casing split. That was pretty comparable to other fast commuting tires I've used (Gatorskins, Re-fuse, Ribmo) and better than I get from pure road tires (e.g. Ultremo).

Then I switched to Marathon Supremes, which are currently at about 3250 miles and are just starting to get punctures (two in the last 200 miles). I have little doubt that something like a Marathon Plus would last forever for me. At the very least it would seem like forever, boat anchors that they are.
