For those of you who remember I recently won a bike.
Well, one of the things that was needing fixed on my old bike were the brakes. I tweaked them and tweaked them but could never get a really good brake, especially on the front.
Well when I won my bike there was a group of people there and we did the whole picture thing. Then I decide to hop on it and take it for a test ride. I make a quick loop around the parking lot and as I'm coming back up to the group I grab the front brake with the same force that I had typically used on my old bike. I go right over the handle bars right in front of everyone. Luckily the only thing hurt was my pride.
Talk about an emotional roller coster of a day :-)
I can total understand that just recently replacing the brakes on my Schwinn. Luckily I had thought enough to carefully test out the new brake power though so no flying lessons for me.
