When I first transitioned from hybrid to road bike, I got my first set of road pedals - SPD-SL style. The first few weeks I only clipped out on my right side at intersections/stops. Inevitably I started practicing alternating sides, and wouldn't you know it, I unclipped left, but leaned right. And there I was, laying on the ground, still clipped in, but laughing my a** off. All of a sudden I look up and see a driver pull over and get out of his car asking if I needed help. He said with his windows up it looked like I was screaming in pain, but he quickly realized I was just laughing at my own stupidity. We both had a good laugh, and he then got in his car and drove off. I thought it was nice of him to ask, seeing as how the first three cars just drove by.
