The Cecil Ashburn climb is just a mile down the road. Green mountain less than 3 miles. Bankhead a little more than 3 miles. Grant mountain, which has 7 climbs associated with it, is 15-20 miles away. Keel mt. is about 15 miles away. Tons of short, steep climbs everywhere.

Southern Tennessee, where the Cumberland Plateau rises up from the Tenn. river valley, is home to countless short and often steep climbs as you go in and out of small valleys and hollows. There's a barbeque cookoff in Lynchburg this Saturday, might have to plan a ride up there(and most likely a car ride back home
