Is that correct? The grade you're referring to is 1.89%? Isn't that more or less flat ground? Or are there some short steep bits in there?
To finish back where you started, that's 3.8% up and 3.8% down. So a 20 mile loop have 10 miles of climbing at 3.8%. Or some flat roads to get to a 5 mile, 7% climb. Or a couple of climbs with some combination of that.

26.3 miles, 2639ft. A cat 3 and a cat 2, gradients into the 20s on the 2. That's a good day's climbing even taking the flat road home.
