I've had that happen a few times and more friendly waves, but what's frustrating is when you've cleared the right hand turn lane and are on the stripe giving them plenty of clearance, you wave them on to make their right turn, even spotting traffic for them, and they still sit there slack jawed till the light turns and you move on.

That sounds like me I'm afraid....I always get paranoid when I'm driving, I never want to come into contact with a Cyclist and go to extraordinary lengths to avoid doing so. I don't mind sitting at a light at a right turn until the light turns green and he or she is well on their way. Who cares if I piss the Driver behind me off.
