The eleven cog Shimano systems give a non-existent "advantage" for me: 11T top cogs.
Since I'm not planning any down-mountain time trials the 11T top is an answer to a question that I never asked.
Therefore I have a 10 cog compatible triple, Shimano brifters & Fr/Rr derails squirreled away for future conversion.
Get 'em while you can.....
