If I'm unemployed (see
this) I'll be interested.
Pace will be about 17-18 min per lap for at least 4 laps.
I ride to the park from my house in Decatur (about 8-9 miles) and then ride around the mountain. I've never done more than 2 laps and my pace is usually 10-12 mph. The hills are killers - at least for my 58 year old body.
I'm way out of shape because of winter but hope I'll be in better shape (not great shape) by the end March when the ax falls.
The last time I was unemployed (2000-2001) I was out of work for 9 months. Seems that no one wants to hire "older" workers. You've heard of age discrimination.
So unless I get lucky I'm expecting to be unemployed for a while.
