conti gantorskins have held up really well on the trainer. I often take the bike off the trainer and ride on the road without having to change tires or wheels. Also I save used tires for trainer tires. I would only consider buying a trainer tire if I had a bike dedicated to the trainer that would never be ridden on the road.
