I wasn't aware of electric car Nay-Sayers. But it might be difficult to call their sales as "brisk". I believe that 80% of all electric cars sales are to government agencies. And with half of all those purchased.... merely sitting in car pool parking lots. With about 100% of all remaining electric cars being somewhat subsidized by governments.

Don't get me wrong! I love the idea of both electric and computer controlled automobiles. But it would be best if the those ideas are allowed to fully bake and be exploited for what they are. Not selected and pushed before they are ready.
