Hi, I live in AZ.
My favorite thing to do as a child/teen was ride bicycle. I stopped for a long time then started again about 20 years ago on a mountain bike in Albuquerque NM. I moved to AZ shortly after that, started a family, a career, stopped riding etc.
Last year I decided to start riding again. I commuted to work (12 miles) on my old mountain bike a few times, that was grueling, then bought a fitness bike. I'm loving my Trek FX. I'm commuting to work, riding around the city. I'm still trying to get into shape but I'm feeling good. I'm interested in bicycle advocacy, commuting and I'm already looking at road bikes. I'm setting a weight and riding goal and a road bike will be my reward.
