Hi all,

I've bought a second hand Dawes Twin Galaxy, and I'm having problems with the front bottom bracket unscrewing itself.
The right hand (non drive side) keeps undoing itself and I can't figure out why.

I've been tandeming for ages but never had a problem with a BB, so I'm a bit stumped. Does a tandem BB usually have a reversed bottom bracket at the front, or is in some way unusual?

The guy I bought it from said he's put in a new one, and I'm suspecting he's reversed the eccentric and put in a standard bottom bracket, so now the threads are on the wrong side and precession is undoing the thread.

Any ideas what could be the cause?
