Excellent ride this morning, despite oversleeping by an hour. Maybe the extra hour of sleep did it. Or maybe it was the fact that it was 20 degrees warmer this morning than it was Friday morning. Even though I had more of a headwind this morning, I still made it to work a full 5 minutes faster than on Friday.

Saturday I had my longest ride ever, over 45 miles, with awesome weather. If I had ridden yesterday I could have made it over 150 miles for the week, but I decided to just rest. Still, I have far surpassed my October riding total from last year, and am also about to surpass my September total, which historically has always been the month with the most miles for me. Going from 2 days to 3 days a week commuting certainly helps in that regard.
