Would you put your bikes in your will?
This is probably the only place this could be discussed without WTF comments. Starting thinking the other day about contingency planning and I love a line someone posted somewhere which went something like this, "my worst fear is that after my death, my wife sells my bikes for $20 each". There are about 2-3 bikes I would likely try to keep forever and would likely will it to my two kids (one each), is that crazy to consider? They are tweens and teens and have no interest in my passions, but thought they would enjoy having something handed down from their dad. And yes, the bikes will be a classic steel frame, not carbon or Ti, but not worth a bundle.
Also the reality is that I could move in a year or 10 years and would not likely be able to take more than 3 bikes with me. Which means about 20 would need to go. Has anyone had to do this and what was your thought process in doing so? I would start with one road bike and a mtb, but after that the third is really hard to decide.
