Please, mods - I see no possible reason for banning the three letter word for firearm when it is used as part of the name for some tools. Anyone who wishes to threaten or promote violence can do so with a host of permissible words. I very much doubt such a person would even need to use the aforementioned word, whereas we can't use it with heat or grease.
