Bumping this very old thread. I am also curious about this as well. I recently found an old Benotto (3000?) that has the classic De Rosa lugs, diamond shaped chainstays, and heart cut-out on the BB. Mine is definitely made in Italy however I can't say for sure if it was made by De Rosa or if De Rosa just supplied the tubes. Anyone have any insights on the connection?
