'80's Peugeot Monaco quick rehab
Well this was only in my possession for about a week and now it is moving on to another home. My buddy found this at a flea market and picked it up knowing my affinity for French bikes (even though this is of Canadian providence) passed it to me. It was in great condition and the only real issue was it was covered in a thick layer of grease and grime. I cleaned it up, cleaned out the headset and BB and ran new cables and housing then adjusted the brakes. It isn't a keeper for me but it was a nice lower rung bike to practice on and another friend loves the retro look and is taking it today. I test rode it for a nice ride and it is a smooth comfortable bike but a bit heavy. Let me know what you think. I took some photos at the end of the cleanup process before and after the new wrap and cables.
