You are probably right in that the probability is slim but there are some unique details that I have also yet to find on other Benotto 3000s. In fact of the 100s of pix I've searched of Benotto's the only other frame exactly like mine is the one in this link...

What makes it unique, is apart from the pressed De Rosa lugs, heart BB cutout, and diamond chainstays, both my and this frame also feature top of BB braze on cable guides and top of chainstay cable stop. This would probably date the frame to sometime in the seventies. These were common to De Rosa's of that time. De Rosa was also still quite a small builder in the 70's so maybe the chance of it being a De Rosa built Benotto might increase a little. Lastly, the person I bought it off of told me it had belonged to a friend of his father who was a professional cyclist. At least I'm hoping
