I still have no idea what my long term goals are with this bike. I simply bought it to experiment with. So far I have only made simple adjustments to fit the bike. The bike is 56c which suits me perfect; I'm 5-11 with a 32" inseam. The previous owner was 6-3 maybe 6-4? The guy seemed WAY to big for this bike. So you can imagine the adjustments I had to make...
High winds, cold air, and intermittent rain has only allowed me to make short rides up and down my street. The weather has improved since buying the bike Friday morning. Today will be the first day I will go on a longer ride. I will have tools on hand to make more adjustments on the fly. I am being very optimistic about the bars and hoping the ride won't be a disappointment.
We seem to be about the same size, I'm 5'10" and have had 54, 56, and 58 cm bike frames. The 56 fits me best. On the 58 I had to put a very short 60mm stem on it to fit, and on the 54 (which is my Cervelo P2) I put a 120 mm stem to fit.
