I think I've had shingles for the past week and a half. Started out with extreme back pain. Thought it was a pinched nerve. Then I got this weird but mild looking rash about a week ago. The rash has been getting slightly worse rather than better. Don't know what prompted me to look up shingles last night but I did and the (normal) photos look like what I have and the descriptions on WebMD, Mayo Clinic, CDC, etc sound exactly like what I have.
Four more minutes until the doctor's office opens. Glad that it isn't highly contagious as I've been at work and trying to do normal stuff, though my training has been curtailed for the most part.
