I breathe out of my nose only, keeps it warm, i find.

It's all ready dipped into the 40's here a few times. My uptown is in shop getting all new spokes on rear wheel, so i'll miss the first nights of below freezing. I have a fuji RLX helmet for warm rides.

I find CRAFT quite durable for the cost ... I've probably got 500 commutes with the jacket and still looks good enough to wear around town if it's not stinky.
I am alcohol free, but i do see the long term benefit of quality products that are not low end/low price. My nutcase helmet for example, not cheap, but it has all the right features and level of protection for serious frequent trips in/with traffic.

Men's SELECT Thermal Barrier Jacket, 2013 - Pearl Izumi

The front is wind and waterproof, the back is more of a mesh to help reduce sweating. Having worn it on 1 ride so far, I am quite impressed. I think it is heavy enough to wear when layered with other things to keep me plenty comfortable in my climate.
I have seen many of these around. I am not sure if it would be worth the cost for me due to me all ready having a pretty decent set of stuff i can use. Same goes for the other jacket. I don't mind saving up for a durable quality thing, but it has to fill a need.

I am going to take photos of my hats, gloves, thermal pants etc in a bit. Some do need replacing from years of wear.
