I don't get to post here enough recently so I've been doing summertime routes to boost mileage when I do commute. 20 on the way home today. Tomorrow I have an early meeting so I'm not sure how many miles I'll get in. I left the car at work so I have to bike-commute!!

Because I took less well-lighted roads and because my bike was strapped to my car and wasn't charging-up in my office all day, I ran out of battery "juice" for my lights. First time that's happened. Luckily it was within a mile or so from home. I also had a flashing LED on my messenger bag so I wasn't totally unsafe.
