Yor're the one in the know; I don't know if the grade really matters, but the shop screwed me on a cassette downgrade (Ultegra to 105) and I wanted to know about the chain before I return to the battlefield.

It is a 9 speed chain. The connecting links are dark grey. Thanks for your insite.
