Awesome! Thanks for the comforting replies. I did have to use the adapter provided with the BR-60, and I never even considered the fact that the smaller diameter could make it harder to hand tighten.

* I forgot to mention the BR-60 looked like it had some kind of white compound on the threads (anti-seize or thread lock?) Maybe this contributed to the issue as well.
